The Challenge: Dreaming Big in a Low-Ceiling Space Our client, Mary, came to us with a clear vision: she wanted to build the most beautiful, immersive pink playground in Ulaanbaatar for young children. She envisioned a “Candy Land” where kids could feel like they were inside a fairytale.
However, the site presented a technical challenge. Located in a shopping mall, the unit had a ceiling height of only 3.2 meters. Standard playgrounds often require more vertical clearance for multi-level structures. Mary needed a partner who could deliver a rich, multi-layered experience without making the space feel cramped or claustrophobic.

Instead of building high, we focused on “horizontal immersion.” We used a soft, pastel pink color palette to visually expand the space, making the 170 sqm area feel open and airy.
