Project Story: Air Square (Guatemala City)
- Location: Diag. 6 13-01 Oakland Place, Guatemala City, Guatemala
- Venue Type: High-End Shopping Mall (Oakland Place)
- Theme: Cyber Neon (Black Base with Purple, Green, & Yellow Accents)
The Challenge: Creating a “Mall Magnet” for Gen Z Oakland Place is one of the most prestigious malls in Guatemala City. The client wanted to introduce an entertainment anchor that would appeal not just to kids, but to teenagers and young adults—a demographic that usually spends time in food courts or cinemas.
The goal was to build a “Social Sports Hub” that matches the mall’s upscale vibe. The design needed to be visually striking (Instagrammable) to drive organic social media traffic while offering high-replay value activities.
Weiroo’s Solution We moved away from the traditional “colorful kids’ playground” look. Instead, we applied a Cyber-Tech Aesthetic. By using a deep Black background with electric Purple, Green, and Yellow highlights, we created a glowing, club-like atmosphere that instantly grabs attention from the mall corridors.
Our trampoline park equipment focused on maximizing revenue per square meter by combining active play with digital entertainment:
1. The “Warrior” Zone: Ninja Course

- Ninja Challenge: A multi-stage obstacle course designed to test agility and strength. It serves as the venue’s “competition stage,” where friends can race against each other.
2. The Signature Attraction: Extreme Air Launch Slide

- Wave Launch Design: Riders lie face-down on a special mat and slide head-first. The unique wave-shaped curve at the bottom launches the rider upwards into the air before a safe landing on a massive airbag.
3. The Tech Zone: AR Interactive Jump

- Immersive Gaming: We installed cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) Trampolines. A large screen in front of the player captures their jumping movements in real-time, putting them directly “inside” the video game. Players must jump to collect coins or fight monsters on the screen. It is the perfect fusion of cardio exercise and video gaming.
4. The Adrenaline Challenge: Trapeze Swing
- High-Flying Action: A thrilling attraction where players grab a horizontal bar, swing forward, and launch themselves into mid-air before landing safely on a soft airbag.
5. The Gladiator Zone: Battle Beam

- 1-on-1 Combat: A balance beam suspended over a foam pit where two friends duel with soft foam logs. The goal is to knock the opponent off the beam. It creates hilarious moments and is a crowd favorite for onlookers.
6. The Team Battle Zone: Dodgeball Arena

- Social Competition: A dedicated enclosed court designed for group battles. This zone allows teams of friends to face off in high-energy dodgeball matches.
7. The “Gamer” Zone: Arcade Area

- Integrated Arcade: A dedicated zone for arcade games. This “Rest & Play” area significantly increases the dwell time and average spending per customer.
The Result Air Square has successfully transformed a section of Oakland Place into a vibrant energy center. The “Black & Neon” design stands out distinctively against the mall’s standard lighting, drawing in foot traffic effortlessly.
